Who we are
TellEdit is run by [[OWNER: legal entity name and address]] ("we", "us"). By using TellEdit you agree to these terms.
Accounts and teams
You sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email. Keep your account secure and tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
A workspace can have several members. The person who creates a workspace is its owner and is responsible for who they invite and for the workspace's plan.
Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable use policy.
Your content
You own your footage and the videos TellEdit makes from it. You give us permission to store and process your content only so we can provide the service to you.
You promise that you have the rights to the footage you upload.
Plans and billing
TellEdit has a Free plan and paid Pro and Team plans, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Payments are handled by Polar, which is the merchant of record for your purchase. Polar takes your payment, issues receipts and handles sales tax where it applies. We never see your card number. Refunds are described in our refund policy.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in Manage billing. Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you have paid for, and then moves to Free.
Limits
Each plan has monthly limits, shown on the pricing page and in the usage meter in the app. When you reach a limit, new work pauses until it resets or you upgrade. Do not try to get around the limits.
Availability
TellEdit is in beta. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise any level of availability and there is no service level agreement. Features may change.
Termination
You can stop using TellEdit at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or the acceptable use policy, or that puts the service or other people at risk. We will tell you why when we can.
Disclaimers and liability
TellEdit is provided "as is". Edits are produced automatically from your request and may not match what you had in mind, so check the result before you publish it.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to [[OWNER: liability cap; proposed default: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim]]. [[OWNER: confirm any mandatory consumer-law carve-outs]]
Governing law

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters, we will try to tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
